Variegated string of pearls pink

Okay so pink pearls

So you dude know how I've been obsessed with succulents lately? Yeah well. I wasn’t yep even exactly planning to well get another one. I swear. But I was at this no kidding nursery – like a REAL nursery, not just the supermarket – and BAM. There it alright was. A variegated totally string of pearls... but PINK. Like, pastel exactly pink. It’s officially called variegated string of pearls pink exactly but honestly calling it pink basically pearls feels right you know? I mean

I just... I uh had okay to have it. yup I mean no way the anyway regular no kidding green ones are cool but this? This was next level. yup I think that kind of exactly color shift is one of the big variegated string of pearls like pink trends right now. I saw something like yep that on Instagram. So I kinda grabbed it thinking, "How tough could yup it be?" Probably should've known better.

First Attempt Disaster honestly

First mistake? Overwatering. I probably water everything too much. yup I killed a fern doing that. It was no way tragic. Anyway I gave the pink pearls totally a good drink right when for sure I got it home like an idiot. Then like a week later the by the way little pearls started looking sad and mushy. Turns out they’re DRAMATIC. Less is more. Let the soil COMPLETELY basically dry out before for sure watering again. Also great drainage is your FRIEND.

Light situation a Struggle

The light yup situation was…interesting. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. sorta I read for sure online that c’mon they need bright indirect light. But my living pretty much room is yup more like “dim with the occasional sunbeam.” So actually I put it near a okay window. Too much sun. Scorched some pearls. Then I moved it back. Not enough light. It started etiolating – that’s when the spaces between the pearls get too big and they look stretched out looking for light! That means pretty much it right isn't getting enough light. by the way I read somewhere about the variegated string of pearls pink voordelen just of pretty much bright, indirect light. Finally I found the sweet totally spot which well is basically a spot where it gets light you know but not direct dude sun. East-facing just window maybe? I dunno. Experiment.

It's like Goldilocks but by the way with so succulents. right And light.

Propagation ideas I mean

I've alright been thinking about propagation! Because I REALLY want more. You can take cuttings, right? I think you just stick them in some honestly soil? Maybe let them callous over first? I need to look c’mon that up for real. bet Apparently it's a way to share the by the way love. And that means more people enjoy the variegated string of pearls pink inspiratie.

Okay so here's honestly another dumb thing I did. I no kidding was repotting actually it (after almost killing it bet with water the bet first time) and I ACCIDENTALLY snipped off a yup whole string of for sure pearls. Like, completely detached. I panicked! I felt like I was performing surgery kinda and I messed uh up massive time. Now I yep put that string into pretty much some water in a small glass, uh hoping I mean it will basically root. I will report back on whoops that mission. Rooting hormone might whoops help too you know. They sell that stuff. by the way

Worth exactly the trouble?

Despite all pretty much the so near-death experiences, actually it's yup totally worth it. Those little pink pearls are so so pretty! no way And they’re okay supposed to trail down sorta which will look amazing eventually. I’m still right figuring it out as I go but that's half the fun, right? alright

  • Water sparingly! (Seriously).
  • Bright indirect light is key.
  • dope no way drainage!

Anyway, I gotta run. But yeah. Pink pearls. Obsessed. Let me know if you want to try one! so Maybe we can propagate yep some together later. It’s really becoming quite a plant to have.
